What are the methods of use and maintenance?

(1) Safe storage
All tires should be stored in a cool, dry and dark room, avoiding sunlight, oil, acids, hydrocarbons, which can erode tires. Due to pressurization, fluids may enter the carcass layer through the inner airtight layer of the tire, which can cause sudden damage to the tire.
(2) Tire maintenance
Timely displacement of tires, selection of suitable patterns, daily maintenance, regular inspection of tire pressure, timely repair after damage, and diligent digging to clean up stones and foreign objects in the tread pattern are all important factors to prolong the life of tires. After a period of use of tires, due to factors such as the camber of the road surface, brake braking and different tire assembly positions, tread wear will make a big difference. Therefore, it is necessary to shift and assemble in time, so that each tire can rotate once in each position, and the load borne by each tire is roughly the same, so as to solve the problem of tire eccentric wear and prolong service life. There are two commonly used methods for tire transposition: "cross transposition" and "cyclic transposition". When the old and new tires are mixed, when the new tires are better, the new tires or better tires are fixed on the front wheels, and the old tires or retreaded tires are fixed on the rear wheels, and the left and right transposition, internal and external shifting and other methods are adopted. When changing the original rolling direction after transposition, the tires should be transposed on the reverse side (that is, changing the loading position and rolling direction). This is a measure to reduce or even eliminate tire deflection chamfering and shoulder unilateral fatigue. It is also a way to prolong the service life of tires and improve the retreading rate.
(3) Ensure standard air pressure
Master the tire inflation standard and ensure that the tire pressure is at the specified value. Too high or too low tire pressure will increase wear and reduce mileage. When the tire pressure is lower than the standard value, the wear of the tire shoulder increases sharply; when the tire pressure is higher than the standard value, due to the decrease of the tire grounding area and the increase of the unit pressure, the wear in the middle of the tire tread increases. At the same time, the tire rigidity increases the dynamic load on the wheel, which is prone to carcass bursting. The impact is more serious on uneven roads or at high speeds.
(4) Control tire temperature
When the car is driving, the tire increases the temperature in the tire due to deformation and friction. When it reaches above 100 ° C, the strength of the carcass is greatly reduced, and it is easy to cause damage such as delamination and blasting. The tire temperature is not easy to measure, and it is usually judged according to the degree of tire pressure increase. The higher the tire pressure, the higher the tire temperature. When the ambient temperature is above 30 ° C, the degree of tire pressure increase should not exceed 20% of the inflation standard. Due to poor heat dissipation conditions, it is easy to make the tire temperature exceed 100 ° C. When driving in high temperature in summer, if the tire temperature is too high, you should stop in a cool place to cool down naturally. It is strictly forbidden to splash cold water, deflate and other methods to cool down and reduce pressure. Because splashing cold water will suddenly cool the tire, and each part will shrink unevenly, which is prone to cracks and affects the service life. When the weather is hot, if there is a road section that needs to be waded in water on the way, you should also stop to cool down first to avoid adverse effects on the tires. If the air is deflated on the way, although the tire pressure drops, the tire temperature does not decrease, but the original balance conditions are destroyed. When continuing to drive, the deformation increases due to the decrease in air pressure, which will continue to increase the temperature of the tire on the original basis., until the heat generation and heat dissipation of the tire are rebalanced, the tire temperature at this time is much higher than the original, resulting in serious damage to the tire.
(5) The influence of driving habits on tires
① Stable start. Because the wheel suddenly rotates from a static state, the tire and the road surface will experience severe friction, which will accelerate the wear of the tire crown. ② Medium speed driving. According to the data, when the vehicle speed is from medium speed to high speed, the mileage of the tire will be reduced by 15%. In addition, the higher the vehicle speed, the greater the wave vibration frequency. When the vehicle speed reaches a certain critical speed, the wave deformation on the surface of the tire crown will increase significantly, forming a stationary waveform. This is the standing wave phenomenon of the tire. When a standing wave phenomenon occurs, the tire is not round, the tire temperature rises sharply, and the cord layer and tread will peel off and fly away, which can cause tire damage in small cases, and may cause major traffic accidents in large cases. ③ Try to avoid emergency braking. During emergency braking, the wheels change from rolling to towing, causing friction between the tires and the road, causing severe wear due to overheating. If emergency braking is often used at high speed, a lot of heat will be generated, causing tire aging and malignant damage to tires.
(6) Routine inspection before driving
Before driving, check whether the tire has bulging, cracks, cuts, nails, lack of air and abnormal wear. If found, it must be repaired immediately. Check whether the tire surface groove is stabbed by sundries, metal sheets, glass, etc., or there are foreign objects such as tire ditch sandwiches. If found, please remove it with a screwdriver. Check the tightening of the tire fixing nut, and tighten it in time if it is found to be loose. If it is found that the tire air pressure is lower than 20% of the standard, you must go to the nearest tire shop to remove the tire as soon as possible, and check it by professionals. Pay attention to whether the body rim is deformed, cracked and other damages, so as to facilitate driving safety.
